The Alexandru Donici House-Museum is located in the village of Donici, Orhei District, the birthplace of writer and fabulist Alexandru Donici (1806–1865), an important figure of 19th-century Romanian literature. The museum is arranged in the family home and presents the author’s life, literary activity, and cultural environment. The exhibition includes period furniture, documents, old editions of his works, manuscripts, and photographs, offering visitors an authentic insight into rural and boier life of the time. The house preserves the atmosphere of a Moldovan noble household from the 19th century and represents a valuable cultural landmark.
