TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE – SICRO.MD
This document constitutes the legal framework for using the website and purchasing travel services offered by the Travel Agency "SICRO TRAVEL" S.R.L. (IDNO: 1019600049121).
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONTRACT VALIDITY
1.1. Distance Contract: According to the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, this document, together with the booking confirmation and proof of payment, constitutes a validly concluded distance contract, producing the same legal effects as a handwritten signed contract. 1.2. Consent through Payment: Making a payment (advance or full) represents the unconditional acceptance of these Terms and the firm confirmation of the Client's intent to benefit from the services.1.3. Absence of Signature: The validity of the contract is not conditioned by a physical signature. The Client cannot request a free cancellation of the booking by invoking the lack of a handwritten signature once the payment has been processed.
2. PAYMENT METHODS
2.1. SICRO TRAVEL provides the following payment methods:
Cash: At the agency's office (Chisinau, 102 Mitropolit Dosoftei St., off. 4), within the legal limit.
Bank Card at the office (POS-Terminal): We accept payment cards (Visa, MasterCard) directly at the agency's headquarters.
Online by Card (E-commerce): Through secure systems, including our partner PAYNET and the instant payment solution MIA.
Bank Transfer: Based on the proforma invoice. Booking confirmation is made after the funds are credited to the Agency's bank account.
3. CURRENCY POLICY (COMMERCIAL RATE)
3.1. Transparency: SICRO TRAVEL applies a competitive exchange rate, calculated on the day of payment. 3.2. Excursions Organized by SICRO: The MAIB SA commercial rate (for legal entities) valid on the day of payment applies. 3.3. External Vacations (Sea, Mountain, Spa): The exchange rate communicated by external contractual partners (tour operators/hotels) applies. 3.4. Installment Payments: Each installment is calculated at the rate valid on the day of that specific payment.
4. DATA PROTECTION AND COMMUNICATION MONITORING
4.1. Data Processing (Law 133/2011): SICRO TRAVEL processes personal data (name, passport, contact) without separate consent, as it is necessary for the conclusion and execution of the contract. 4.2. Call Recording (IP Telephony): For the purpose of improving service quality and security, all phone calls to the official SICRO TRAVEL numbers are recorded. The caller is informed vocally at the beginning of the conversation.
5. NATURE OF PRICES AND OFFERS
5.1. Informative Prices: Rates displayed for individual vacations (sea/mountain/spa) are informative ("starting from"). The final price is confirmed after real-time availability check. 5.2. Documents: The Client must provide identity data immediately after payment. Delaying this does not suspend the application of penalties.
6. BOOKING CONDITIONS AND PENALTIES
6.1. Prevalence of Specific Documents: Detailed penalties are included for each trip separately, under the "Documents"section on each trip's page on the website. These prevail over the general conditions. 6.2. General Grid: In the absence of contrary provisions in the specific documents, in case of cancellation initiated by the Client, the following apply:
Group Excursions (RO/MD): Cancellation >30 days: 10% (admin fee) | 15-30 days: 50% | <14>
Flight Packages/City Break: Airline tickets are, as a rule, non-refundable (100%) from the moment of issuance.6.3. Administration Fee: Any refund (regardless of the client's reason for cancellation) involves the withholding of banking processing fees and an administrative fee of at least 10% of the amount paid, for the consultancy and booking services already rendered.
7. RESPONSIBILITIES AND FORCE MAJEURE
7.1. Travel Documents: The Client is responsible for passport validity (minimum 6 months) and visas. The Agency is not responsible for the refusal of border crossing by authorities. 7.2. Force Majeure: SICRO TRAVEL is not liable for failure to perform obligations in case of wars, disasters, strikes, or pandemics.
8. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
8.1. Complaints must be submitted in writing within a maximum of 5 days after return. Disputes not resolved amicably will be settled by the competent courts in Chisinau
