The KVINT Winery and Distillery is a landmark of winemaking and distillation traditions in Tiraspol, with a history dating back to 1897. The name KVINT is an acronym derived from the Russian phrase meaning “cognacs, wines and beverages of Tiraspol”. The company is especially famous for its divins (brandy), aged from 3 to over 60 years, produced using classical distillation methods and matured in oak barrels. Alongside brandies, KVINT produces award-winning wines appreciated on international markets. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the historic cellars and production areas, followed by themed tastings of wines and divins.
Tours and tastings usually require advance booking and are conducted mainly in Russian or English. The visit is particularly attractive for wine and spirits enthusiasts.
