📌 According to national legislation, economic operators may apply a commercial exchange rate with a difference of up to +2% compared to the official rate set by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM). Within our company, we strive to maintain a competitive, fair, and clearly communicated rate.
How do we apply the exchange rate?
🔹 For excursions and hikes organized by SICRO TRAVEL (domestic and international): The MAIB SA commercial rate (for legal entities) valid on the day of payment is applied. This reflects the real costs of services accurately and is set with financial responsibility.
🔹 For beach holidays, mountain vacations, spa treatments, and other external travel packages:
The exchange rate provided by our contractual partners (tour operators, hotels, external agencies) is applied, according to the conditions set by them.
📅 The exchange rate is applied on the day of payment (deposit or full payment). For payments in multiple installments, each installment is calculated based on the rate valid on that day.
