Day 1: Lagazuoi Peak and Tunnels
Organized transfer from Bergamo airport to the hotel takes place in the morning, approximately 4 hours.
On the first day of our Dolomites adventure, we explore the impressive Lagazuoi tunnel system, remnants of World War I. This extensive, well-preserved network offers a safe and captivating hike. Starting on trail no. 402, breathtaking landscapes greet us immediately. Equipped with helmets and flashlights, we walk through marked and ventilated tunnels, discovering the history through fascinating stories and informative signs. At Lagazuoi Refuge, atop Lagazuoi Peak—the highest point of our excursion—we enjoy stunning views.
Day 2: Lake Braies – The Turquoise Gem of the Dolomites & Cinque Torri
We begin a captivating adventure at Lago di Braies, the jewel of the Italian Dolomites, one of the most popular spots in the region. The lake, with its enchanting crystal-blue waters, lies beneath a rocky amphitheater. We take a 3-hour walk around the lake, admiring its beauty.
After lunch, we head to Cinque Torri, visiting restored WWI trenches and learning about the area’s significance during the war. Part of the Cinque Torri hike is an open-air museum, with informational panels and exhibits. This is not your usual museum visit—it’s a unique experience combining hiking, landscapes, and history.
Day 3: Lake Sorapiss – The Secret Oasis of the Dolomites
Imagine being surrounded by turquoise lakes shining under the sun and framed by majestic limestone mountains. Lake Sorapiss stands out for its secluded location, guarded by the 3,200-meter Sorapiss Peak. On the way, we follow mountain trails scented with pine, climb metal ladders, and enjoy spectacular views of the Dolomites. The scenery opens toward Monte Cristallo and Piz Popena, and upon reaching Lake Sorapiss, we pause to admire its turquoise waters and the imposing mountains, with Tre Cime in the distance, perfect for photos.
Day 4: Tre Cime – Intense Emotions and Spectacular Views
Get ready for a memorable adventure to Tre Cime, where trails wind among limestone massifs, towering peaks, and green valleys. We explore the Tre Cime di Lavaredo route, an accessible itinerary offering views of the three iconic peaks: Cima Piccola, Cima Grande, and Cima Ovest, crossing rocky ledges and alpine meadows. This popular Dolomites hike rewards us with extraordinary panoramic views, dramatic cliffs, and sparkling alpine lakes. We end the adventure at Cadini di Misurina, offering one of the most spectacular views in the Dolomites—a scene we will cherish forever.
Day 5: Adventure on the Most Accessible 3,000m Peak – Piz Boè
We conclude the trip with an adventure to one of the highest peaks of the Sella massif, Piz Boè, accessible to both experienced climbers and hiking enthusiasts. The first part of the trail is reached by cable car. From Sass Pordoi, we hike to Rifugio Forcella Pordoi, take in the fresh mountain air, and marvel at the peaks that seem to touch the blue sky.
Day 6: Free Time
The first part of the day is free for you to explore the area at your own pace. After lunch, we head to the airport, taking the Dolomites with us in our hearts.
