Vinuri de Comrat is one of the oldest and best-known wineries in southern Moldova, located in Comrat, the capital of the autonomous region of Gagauzia. Founded in the 19th century and later modernized, the winery blends local winemaking traditions with contemporary technology. It produces over 50 wine ranges, from dry and semi-sweet to dessert wines, using both international grape varieties and local grapes from the Valul lui Traian wine-growing area. Comrat wines have earned numerous international awards, reflecting the authentic character of southern Moldova. Visitors can tour the winery, historic cellars, and enjoy guided tastings that showcase Gagauz hospitality.
