Tour details

Are you tired of the noise and crowds of the city? Do you feel the need for an escape into nature? It’s time to get away! Join us for a weekend in the Rarău Massif and let yourself be surrounded by the scent of the forests and the colorful palette of the season.

Giumalău Peak → With an altitude of 1,857 meters, Giumalău Peak is the highest point of the massif and offers a panoramic view of the entire region. The climb is moderate, and once you reach the summit, the effort is rewarded with an impressive landscape.

Pietrele Doamnei → These legendary rock formations are a landmark of the Rarău Massif. The impressive cliffs, shrouded in local legends and mystery, dominate the landscape and attract numerous tourists.

Popii Rarăului → These limestone formations, with their unique shapes, were created by wind and rain erosion. They are another point of interest for hikers and offer a rare geological spectacle.

Rarău Peak → Reaching an altitude of 1,651 meters, Rarău Peak is another panoramic point in the massif. From here, you can see Pietrele Doamnei and other rocky formations in the area, and on a clear day, a fairytale-like landscape of the entire massif and surrounding areas unfolds.

These mountains are suitable both for those just beginning their hiking adventures and for experienced hikers. With moderate difficulty, the trail is accessible but still provides an emotionally rich experience and unforgettable views. We assure you that you will return home with memories and landscapes that seem straight out of a storybook.

An authorized mountain guide is essential on a hike, ensuring safety, orientation, a deep understanding of the surrounding environment, and reducing risk factors such as getting lost on the trail, encounters with wild animals, or unexpected weather conditions.

Medical insurance with mountain coefficient

Medical insurance with mountain coefficient – a must for hikes!
✔ Covers rescue and evacuation (including helicopter).
✔ Protects against mountain injuries (sprains, fractures, hypothermia).
✔ Saves you from huge costs.

Round-trip Transport
