Via Ferrata, also known as the “iron path” in Italian, is a unique and thrilling way to explore rugged mountain terrain under maximum safety conditions. It consists of mountain trails equipped with steel cables, metal ladders, anchors, and other fixtures that allow hikers to ascend and descend rock faces and mountain walls safely and in a controlled manner. Here are some key features of the Via Ferrata we organize:
Safety Equipment: Participants on a Via Ferrata route are equipped with a special harness and helmet for protection. This equipment is essential for safety and helps prevent accidents in case of a fall.
Difficulty Levels: Via Ferrata routes vary in difficulty, from beginner-friendly trails (Astragalus) to more challenging ones (Wild Ferenc).
Guiding and Instructions: Both Via Ferrata routes are completed with an accredited mountain guide. Participants receive instructions on the correct use of equipment and climbing techniques before beginning the adventure.
Spectacular Mountain Views: One of the most captivating aspects of Via Ferrata is the unique perspective it offers on mountain landscapes. Climbing rocks and crossing suspended bridges gives you the opportunity to admire stunning views and impressive panoramas.
Accessible Adventure: Via Ferrata is suitable for both beginners and those with limited climbing experience. With proper equipment and guidance, almost anyone can experience this form of mountain adventure.
Enhanced Safety: The cables and fixtures make Via Ferrata safer than traditional climbing. Even in the event of a fall, the safety equipment and cables ensure that the risk of serious injury is minimized.
Via Ferrata offers an exceptional way to experience the beauty of nature actively and thrillingly, without requiring advanced climbing skills. This mountain adventure is perfect for those looking to push their limits and explore spectacular mountain landscapes in complete safety.
